Nurse's Office

Welcome to the Creedmoor Elementary Health Services office! My name is Andrea Carlisle, and I am the Creedmoor Elementary School nurse. This is my second year here at Creedmoor, but I have been a nurse for six years. I’m originally from Arlington, TX, and I received my BA in Spanish from the University of North Texas. After years of living out-of-state then abroad, I came back home to Texas to earn my nursing degree from Austin Community College. I love being a part of the Creedmoor community, and taking care of the students, their families, and my coworkers.

I recently started working with DVISD as a nurse aide. I’m a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) . Some responsibilities of a CNA are providing first aid to students and staff for minor injuries, recording symptoms of sick students, giving medication, providing emergency care when needed and performing health screening of students. CNAs perform important tasks under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

I was born and raised in Austin,TX. I come from a big family of 7 sisters and 4 brothers. I'm happily married and have a son named Yoel. He is 6yrs old.

Some of my favorite things to do are spend quality time with my mother, take my son to the park, play volleyball, go to the beach and watch my husband play soccer. My favorite food to eat is chinese food. A goal of mine is to keep students healthy and ready to learn.
