Kiersten Hazelwood, LMSW
Kiersten Hazelwood is a graduate of West Texas A&M University and Our Lady of the Lake University San Antonio, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work and a Master of Science degree in Social Work.
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience, Ms. Hazelwood joined the Creedmoor Elementary team in 2021, where she works as a direct link between home, school, and the community, providing support for students' emotional, social, and academic success. Her diverse experience allows her to effectively cater to each individual's unique needs and build strong relationships with students and their families to provide therapeutic services and interventions.
Ms. Hazelwood has been a resident of Austin for 4 years and is the proud owner of a dog named Odie. During her spare time, she loves hanging out with her loved ones, exploring new places, and going for runs.

Cheyenne Koerth, Counselor
From working as an after school teacher at Hornsby-Dunlap and DVE to coordinating the LEAD program at Popham, teaching 4th grade at Smith and Special Education at Creedmoor Elementary School, Cheyenne Koerth, Creedmoor Elementary’s Professional School Counselor, has her roots deep in Del Valle. She begins her twelfth year of service to the district for the ’23-’24 school year, and her third year as Creedmoor’s counselor.
She obtained a bachelor's degree from the University of Evansville in 2010 and earned her Master of Education in School Counseling from Lamar University in 2020. She currently serves alongside the talented mental health team on campus, and provides monthly guidance lessons to all students, small group instruction, and individual services as needed. She focuses on the whole child, working to help students understand, explore, and regulate their emotions. It is her deepest honor that the Creedmoor community trusts her with their children, and her entire purpose is to help our Cougars grow into the best version of themselves that they can possibly be!
